There are not enough words to describe how our lives have changed since the birth of our son. Our hopes and dreams are truly alive in his eyes. He is our little angel that has been sent to us by a miracle. With a "little" help from some very important people. While my wife and I were always aware of the complications that can arise during the adoption process, we had complete faith in your abilities and never felt that we were just clients but more as friends of the firm. From the bottom of our hearts, my new family thanks you.

Our dream came true one cold January day when Kerry Moore’s office called to tell us we were parents. A caring, sensitive and courageous birthmother had chosen us to become parents to her son. Off we flew to Phoenix to meet our baby and the wonderful family that had now come into our lives. Kerry and her staff guided us through the process with care and patience. We shared the most amazing moment of our lives when her staff met us to hand over this beautiful little person that was now our son.
The next evening they facilitated a warm and comfortable dinner with the birth family that we will treasure forever. Words can not and will never express our gratitude to Kerry and her wonderful team. They made a family of two into a family of three. Thank you Kerry.
Warmest Wishes

Are you considering placing you baby for adoption? We would like to tell you our story. We had been very happily married for over 14 years, but our happiness was not complete because we did not have children to love and cherish. We decided that adoption was the way a child was going to come into our family. We contacted Attorney Kerry Moore and she introduced us to a beautiful young girl who was five months pregnant and had decided that placing her baby for adoption was the best choice she could make, for herself and for her baby. During her pregnancy, we talked on the phone frequently . . we even got to know her mother. We all came to know and love one another by the time the baby was born. Our son is now in our arms. We are joyfully sharing pictures and letters with his biological mother, who will be in our hearts forever.

Hello. Our names are Michael and Tracy. Our dreams recently came true when we adopted a baby girl a year ago. We had been married seven years and were unable to conceive a child. We eagerly pursued adoption, knowing what a wonderful option it is: both of my cousins, with whom i grew up, were adopted. We were very surprised to find out that there are many more families wanting to adopt than there are available babies. Our adoption counselor told us this was because many girls chose abortion and some chose parenting, when faced with an unplanned pregnancy. While we pursued adoption for two years with no result, we never became discouraged because we knew that our baby was out there, waiting for us. Finally, we received a telephone call from our attorney: Attorney Kerry Moore had called him and said she had a young client named Brittany who was pregnant, had chosen adoption and had selected our profile among the several profiles she looked through. We were so excited! The attorneys got us on the phone with her and our relationship was an instant success. We spoke with her frequently during her pregnancy and finally the day arrived when our daughter, Olivia, was born! She was beautiful, just like her mother, Brittany. Olivia is now a year old. This past year has been the best year of our lives! We are so grateful to Brittany for making the unselfish decision of choosing adoption! We have continued to share our lives and joy with Brittany through pictures and letters. If you are pregnant and wondering what to do, think of our story. Be strong and put your unborn child's interests first in your heart and you will be sure to make the right decision.

As a single woman looking to adopt a baby and become a mother for the first time, I was actively exploring both Domestic and International possibilities. I was discouraged repeatedly about trying to adopt a baby domestically. I was told my chances would be slim to none that a birth mother would select me as compared to all the married couples adopting at the same time. So when I received the telephone call that a young birthmother named Maria had chosen me to adopt her unborn child, I was ecstatic and numb all at the same time. As soon as I spoke to Maria, I knew that this child was meant to be with me.
Today, I am the proud mother of a gorgeous baby girl who will soon be 5 weeks old. I just can’t take my eyes off her even through all the late night feedings, diaper changes, and unexpected spit up events. The amazing thing is, she couldn’t look more like me if I had given birth to her myself. It is so true that once you have a child nothing in your life is ever the same. I am so grateful to Maria that she chose to continue her unplanned pregnancy and enter into an adoption plan that made me a mother and gave her child a family and a future.

"If you are reading this, you are probably considering placing your baby for adoption. As you consider all of your options, I want you to know my wonderful adoption story. We have been blessed through Attorney Kerry Moore’s office to adopt two beautiful children. Our daughter is three years old now and her baby brother a newborn. They are, of course, the center of our universe. We were unable to have biological children of our own and knew that adoption was the way we were going to become a family. We knew that many girls face unplanned pregnancies and seek a stable, secure home for their child. We had a large comfortable home, in the country, with horses and dogs – a perfect home lacking only children. Our home is now full of laughter and joy and the sound of children. Their grandmother lives almost next door. They have everything a child needs – a warm home, family, and, most of all, our love. I will be forever grateful to Nichole and Lisa, the birthmothers of our children, for their unselfish decisions to place." |
If you are pregnant, considering adoption, I want you to know our adoption story. Jim and I have been blessed with three wonderful, beautiful, brilliant and energetic children. Reading about someone describing their children in that manner, you would assume they gave birth to them. However, in our case, they are all adopted. At the age of 27 I had to have a hysterectomy, so having biological children was not an option. Fortunately three very courageous women gave us a truly unselfish gift – our three beautiful children: Andy, Alex, and Kate. When each of their birthmothers were faced with a choice, they put the future of their unborn child first. Our children, who are now ages 15, 13 and 12, know they are adopted. When they ask questions about their birthparents, we are open and honest and answer them to the best of our ability. They have brought so much laughter, joy, and happiness into our home. Just like any family, we have shed tears, faced many hurdles and overcome several challenges. With three the teenagers in the house, we know these next years will bring more of the same. This is our life; this is our family. Not a day goes by that we don’t say a prayer of thanksgiving to the birthmothers of each of our children.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Melissa, the wonderful, caring birthmother of our daughter! Words cannot express as well as this picture does, the joy we feel at becoming parents finally! Adoption is a miracle! Love, Katie and Michael"
